WHAT IS THE TVC AUDITION WORKSHOP FOR TEENS?
The TVC Audition Workshop is for teens who are interested in acting for camera, want to learn how to achieve a strong and memorable audition and, most importantly, have fun!
We provide an interactive and fun environment for teens of any level to experiment with acting and learn fundamental auditioning techniques. During the workshop each teen will simulate an audition for a national television commercial and receive direct feedback on his/her performances by the casting director conducting the workshop.
Each participant will be given the opportunity to act in front of the camera and behind the camera thus taking on the roles of actor, casting director, director, producer, ad agency producer and client. They will get to live out the process of a TVC audition from start to finish and process it from every possible angle. This will give each teen a better understanding of the process of auditioning and what each person's role in the process is.
By giving teen actors a comprehensive understanding of the auditioning process and allowing them freedom of expression in a supportive environment, the workshop helps to build confidence, self-esteem and opens them to a broader experience in acting and life in general. Understand the fundamental skills needed when auditioning, thus building confidence and competency when auditioning.

Learn what the magic bag is and what to do with it

Understand who those people are behind the camera & what their expectations are
Learn techniques that help take away the daunting jitters
HOW IS THE TVC AUDITION WORKSHOP FOR TEENS STRUCTURED?
The Audition Workshop is conducted as though it is an actual screen-testing situation with a Casting Director putting each teen through the paces of an audition.
Throughout each performance the Casting Director will explore, with the teen, techniques that will enhance performance. Each teen's performance will be discussed by the Casting Director and class in order to provide the optimum amount of feedback and provide a behind the camera perspective for each participant.
The total number of teens attending is a maximum of twelve and a minimum of eight. With such small classes each teen is guaranteed the attention and feedback that he/she needs to start improving and working on their technique.

Each teen is required to bring a current CV and headshot to be critiqued along with their performance

HOW MUCH DOES THE TVC AUDITION WORKSHOP FOR TEENS COST?
We are offering 5 x hour workshops at $125 per person plus GST & transaction fee of $2.99
Total fee for the class including GST & transaction fee = $140.50
TVC Workshop for Teens aged 13 to 17 years old
Class size is between 8 and 12 participants

CANCELLATIONS
We require at least 7 days notice in advance of a cancellation.
We can not refund any fee unless we have been given at least 7 days notice in order to replace numbers in the class. Thank you.
