A PAM Success Story
Danielle Macdonald attended PAM in LA in May 2009 at the age of 17. She impressed all the casting directors who told her that a move to LA was imminent.
She saw the casting directors at the Professional Actors Workshop Series (PAWS) in Sydney in November 2009 where two of them sat her and her mother down and said "we want her in LA".
One of them called a Hollywood manager on her behalf and the next thing she knew she was signed with Marshak Zachary Management in LA. Danielle auditioned for a role on a new ABC Disney TV sitcom based on the Sasha Paley book, Huge. She then went to directors and producers and tested for studio and eventually landed the lead role.
At 18 years of age, with no professional Australian credits, but solid training, natural talent and a determination level beyond her years, she is living out her dream in LA.
