Heath Ledger Scholarship 2009

Some or all of you may have already heard about the Australians in Film Heath Ledger Scholarship 2009. The scholarship has been created in honour of Heath and with the support of his family. It's purpose is to help an emerging Australian actor break into the ultra competitive US film industry.

The successful applicant will be awarded up to USD$10,000 plus return airfare from Australia to pursue a career in the US. Applications are being accepted up until November 28th, 2008 with the first beneficiary to be announced by mid February 2009.
